It allows the head assembly to be attached to the cable using the threaded connection rather than the Crosby open socket and pin connection. The 7\/8\u201d Stud and Cable will let you pull many of the 6&#8243; and 8\u201d pipe-bursting jobs, but it is ultimately dependent on soil conditions. Each threaded stud comes with a Pulling Eye (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.trictools.com\/parts\/product\/TT-CABL-TSPE\/\">TT-CABL-TSPE<\/a>) for pulling the cable through the pipe, and that part number can be used for purchasing spare or replacement ones.
